Trident
The Trident suite combines global
ship modeling, finite element analysis and seakeeping
analysis into a single integrated system. Naval architects,
structural engineers and ship designers have access
to standard ship design tools and leading-edge capabilities,
such as fatigue and ultimate strength analysis.
Complete: Global ship
modeling and detailed finite element structural analysis,
including static, dynamic, nonlinear, natural frequency
and buckling.
Integrated: Trident
Seakeeping tools accurately predict wave loads and
structural behavior in various sea states. Time-domain
and frequency domain hydrodynamics analysis tools
available. Import wave load results directly into
Trident FEA for further structural analysis.
Fast: The Trident Solver
uses Sparse Matrix technology for fast computation
times and no limits on model size. A 10,000 node static
finite element analysis will run in less than 25 seconds!
Powerful: Trident also
provides advanced analysis tools including deterministic
and spectral fatigue analysis, ultimate strength analysis,
underwater explosion analysis and acoustic radiation
analysis.
