Martec participated in the detailed
engineering phase of the Alma and South Venture jackets
through a sub-contract with Kvaerner SNC-Lavalin Offshore
(KSLO). Specifically, Martec conducted the following
activities:
- Riser and Spool design and analysis
- Appurtenance design and analysis
- Detailed design of secondary structure
- Detailed design of lift points
- Conducted design analyses including lift, in-place,
on-bottom stability, transportation
These jackets are installed offshore Nova Scotia,
near Sable Island.
