Hydrodynamicist

Summary: In response to continued growth, Martec has an immediate opening for the position of Hydrodynamicist. The successful candidate will be a key part of the engineering team that develops Martec’s WaveLoad software and provides technical support services to clients.

Education: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Physics with emphasis in Fluid Mechanics.

Experience: Several years experience in ship hydrodynamics, particularly seakeeping analysis and wave-structure interaction. Software development experience required. Experience in the development and application of RANS solver technology would also be considered an asset.

This is a full time position based out of Martec’s head office in Halifax.
